The last of the B2B series.
A picture that went wrong! Standing on the edge of the cliff, Ashwin was to capture the beauty and enormity of the whole valley and then I moved shaking the camera. There was never a second chance after that as we had to keep walking. But this picture could have been one of “The picture” although its not a “back” picture
Taj doing a “Mathew”. The picture taken on our way from Khajjiar to Chamba against the backdrop of Khajjiar hills
Home guards were guides in our three days trip. They had a fair idea of the terrain and could walk long distance without getting tired. He would stand on the edge of the cliff to catch track of the other trekkers. He is standing on the edge there.
The bridge that was the last exit from the mountains to the roads. Build on strong steel cables, it moved a bit. Relatively new, the last bridge on the same place burned down last year.
I am still not comfortable pointing the camera at people and shooting. Although having a big camera does have many people in awe of it. On a lonely road overlooking Chamba, this woman sat there waiting for someone. I clicked the first photo thinking she might turn any minute. However she did not turn and sat there looking at the city waiting for someone. The second photo is a close up.
I did not take this photo. Actually, in all the version, I am standing with the others. This is a real good one taken by a Snehal who was handling my Camera for the first time. The tired trekkers against the backdrop of the mountains of Himachal makes for a great picture.
