I can tell so many pathetic jokes or Punds jokes (PJ) that I have a bad reputation in the office. So it was no wonder that I was told to write the first ever “Joke of the Month” in the quarterly project newsletter, my hands twitched and my face smiled in an evil grin. I gave that deadly big laughter that is so identified with the demons in the mythological serials. Now was the time for torturing everybody, the chance to make every body pay. Ab aaya unth pahad ke neeche (Now the camel has come under the mountain. Lekin Abe pahad uthaya kisne yahan se?). So wrote the joke of the month and submitted and it finally got published this week.
When I first received the request to write the “Joke of the month”, I was a little confused when some question banged in my head. What do you mean by “joke of the month”? Does it mean this is the best joke for the month? Does it mean that it is the only joke of the month? Does it mean that we will hear only this joke for the whole month? And if we hear this only joke for the rest of the month then will we get bored by this joke? Will we hear the joke at the start of the month or at the end of the month? If we hear at the start of the month then we have to hear the joke for many days but if we hear it at the end of the month we have to hear it only for few days. If this is the only joke for the month, then would it become the “boring joke of the month”? If it becomes boring joke, will it still remain the “joke of the month”?
If it becomes a boring joke, then can we have another “joke of the month” and that brings us to the first question; Does that mean that it is the best joke of the month or just the only joke of the month? Looking at the previous long questions, another long question Question:
