Tomorrow is 5th December, “Sinterklaas eve”. Sinterklaas or Saint Nicolas was a 4th Century Bishop who lived in Netherlands and brought gifts for children. Sounds familiar, yes because it is similar to Santa Claus but it is celebrated on 5th of December. That’s tomorrow.
So children and adults celebrate it with much enthusiasm. We are having a small celebration at the office tomorrow. We were asked to keep drawings or poem written for Sinterklaas in a shoe, similar to stockings in Christmas. We might get some gifts on Monday kept for us by Sinterklaas. You are also asked to write on the same paper what gift would you like.
Ben has asked for a Xbox 360 and a pony. Others have asked for something else. I have asked for 10 million euros. I have to buy Xbox 360 and a pony for Ben. Also the rest of the team will also get gift which I will buy from the 10 Million euros I get. Even though people are not thinking, I have though of all of them and plan to give them present with the 10 million euros I get from Sinterklaas. As for me, I don’t have many desires. I would adjust in the remaining money which is left after buying gift for the whole team. You see, hum gujara kar lenge!
The shoes kept with the drawings and poems kept by us for Sinterklaas. Notice the paper shoes made by some of us because they forgot thier shoes. The lepord shoes were bought by Ben. He said it would help Sinterklaas notice us faster.
I am surprised that people have stopped thinking about others and have only asked for gift for themselves. Not me! I plan to buy gifts for all. What’s happening to the world?
