Some of the events, things and memories takes a few line to describe but some take words and words running into pages to describe. Even after many pages, you still think something is missing.Since I started writing, I have wrote pages about my memories, things around me and sometimes something stupid. I have linked them in series linking one to another. The following is the description of all the series I have written.
Living Mumbai.
My birth place is Bombay or Mumbai as we call it now and even Bambai in Mumbaiya Hindi. I was born and brought up in Mumbai. For most part of my life, I never left the city. Darna Mana Hai
Right from the first Ramsay horror movie I saw while in my Seventh standard to now when I laugh at the Ramsay’s flicks, I had a fascination for the ghost and demons around. The excitement that makes my hairs stand and the fear that freezes me, does not stops me still from watching the horror movies. The Series is a tribute to the horror movie I have seen and could remember.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6 and Part 7
Who Bhuli Dastaan
Doordarshan was the only television channel which I grew as a youngster. This was long before there were more than a 100 channels on cable television today. As a viewer, there was not much choice on television for entertainment. Controlled by bureaucracy and doubling as a information medium, Doordarshan offered some good serials in the Eighties. What started as the live telecast of the Asian games during 1982, Doordarshan had given some quality serials from some of the renowned film makers of India. The series is looking back at that age when television had only one name – Doordarshan.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7 and Part 8
