The Welfare Of Stray Dogs (WSD) is having a Book Sale of donated new and secondhand books from April 11-14, 2008 (Fri-Mon) from 10 am to 6 pm in the compound of Vaswani Mansions, Opposite K C College, Churchgate. Come browse around and pick up books on self- help, best sellers, travel, spirituality, philosophy, fiction and non-fiction and children’s books at throw-away prices.
All proceeds from the book sale will go towards our sterilization and rabies prevention program.
The Welfare Of Stray Dogs (WSD) is an animal welfare NGO that conducts a mass sterilization & immunization programme for stray dogs and has sterilized more than 32,500 stray dogs with an objective of bringing down their population and eliminating rabies. WSD has impacted more than 90,000 strays through on-site first-aid, adoption and immunizations.
So if you are in South Mumbai during these four days, take the opportunity to visit the book sale. Abodh promises books at really cheap prices so why not?
