The family came to Pune on 26th December to visit Shirdi. I picked them up from the Pune Airport and travelled through the Mumbai-Pune expressway. If I travel from Mumbai to Shirdi, I don’t cross Pune.
With me and the driver, I did not have much to do except click click and click. Taken from a moving vehicle most pictures are on the run

The waiting
Not on the Mumbai-Pune expressway but just after entering Pune. The non stop traffic suddenly moves in a snail pace after entering Pune! A Truck cleaner wonders when he will be out.

A rare moment with no car before us. The start of the highway at Mumbai’s end.
The Wheels
These wheels have traveled a long distance to come here. With the look of the truck changing over the years, these low cost Tata and Ashok Leyland trucks still adorn the highways. It would be time before the sophisticated Volvo take their places
The Sahyadris
