Taken with a 10x zoom, I found the photo as I had taken it just for the sake of testing the zoom. The katta lies in a sorry state but the katta walas have not abandoned it. I still found boys sitting there in the evening, still topics discussed, still gossip being shared, still matches being cheered, still people pulling each other leg and still friends catching up with each other.
Between the fast life and changing relations, between the hustle bustle of a busy Mumbai and between the uncaring attitude of Mumbai, the katta lives on!

Nice to see the picture of that story!
Raam Raam Pundoba, off & on I have been reading Ur Pre & Post India trip blogs (and everything in between) . Really like your honest no frills writing. It has its own old world charm. Boley toh blogworld ka tu Amol Palekar hein
( that’s a compliment! ) I quite envy the frequency with which you churn out posts after posts ! Keep Writing…
Punds, Thanks for the photo. I have put a ’salute-post’ to sugandhi-katta on my blog and would like to know what you think of it.

Long time no see! Yeh toh aap sab ka ashirwad hai. Actually its like a addiction. Once you start, the pleasure of seeing one more post is worth it. Then reading a comment like yours is worth even more.
