Fortunately no one ever dropped the "b-word" on me, but that really didn't make things a lot better. Of course, life has moved on and some of those things now seem like naive blunders of youth. But I think you manage to capture emotions that practically everyone has gone through at some point in life. Good on ya, man. I'm loving it! :-) Punds, this is exactly the kind of story I had thought of years ago, when I myself felt exactly like the “bridesmaid”.
