Hey.. Guys didnt know so many of us miss the simple serials of dd.
I think all the serials mentioned are true to the lives of people. Nothing Compares to Them !!

Chitra, if you ever get hold of Cd/Dvd/VHS for NEEV…. Pls Pls pls do let me know so I can have them written for me as well.

Anurag, can you use ur own sources of alumni to get hold of Neev Cds ??

does anybody know where i can get “space-city” sigma DVDs/video cassettes ? I used to record them when I was in 9th grade. I would *really, really* like to have a copy of them.

we grew up wholwsomely………..

It’s sad our next generation
misses it
needs it
but cannot get it …..

Still then , let’s plan to gift something as good as what we saw to them …

discovery is already there, animal planet is there, the DD1 is also there…..let’s try to upgrade it and re present it in a new package to our kids …………….let’s try ./…………pure entertainment with knowledge and culture are our rights as indians …………we got it ……………….spoilt it and now let us try to remake it …………..

Nice one ..my memory is really bad i don’t remember much of what i saw as a kid. BTW osheen is japanese not chinese and it was quite famous here in japan too :)..i was wondering if someone remembers the theme song of anar ke daane

well …….. nice recollection …….. certainly it has made me to list out a few serials i remember………like

Yeh jo hai zindagi : rakesh bedi, swaroop sampat, shafi inamdaar……. the first serial i saw as far back as i can remember

Buniyad : dont remeber much of it except that alok nath, kanwal jit n some more were some of the charatcers i see now quite often

Hum Log : well…….. hardly remember nything now except nanha n chutki

Karamchand : a caarrot relishing detective Pankaj Kapoor, n Kitty

Malgudi Days : One of my all time favourite

Afsaane : one good serials about undelivered letters

Vaagle Ki duniya : a good serial depicting problems of middle class

Osheen : a chineese serial dubbed in hindi ……

Rajni : Priya Tendulkar played the lead character…….. somewhat at the same time Sachin Tendulkar came into Indian Team ……. i guess

Fauji, Dusra Kewal, Circus, Ahmak : Sharukh Khan’s good efforts paid later indeed

there were some mythological serials too….. Sinhasan batteesee, Vikram aur baital,

n some toony ones like gayab aaya,

n then came the time of so called CABLE TELEVISION ……… n a flood of serials just thrown upon the audience ..like Tara, Banegi Apni baat n so on………….but a couple of serials still stood out like……. The Wonder Years, Dooogie Houser MD

n now its a wastage of time to even think abt a serial

Nyways………. its all old memories………
