The First thing you feel about standing on the foot of Eiffel Tower is that, It is huge. I had seen the Eiffel only in photos. But standing below the Eiffel, makes you feel so small, so insignificant and yet in awe of this enormous structure of steel and iron.
The Eiffel against the clear blue [...]

Through the Clouds

We are deep into France and the sun comes overhead. But the sky is cloudy. And from the clouds the sun sends its rays but I still can’t see the sun. It reminds me of Gurudutt’s “Pyasa”, when the sun rays light the dark studios. I have seen tha sun rays through the clouds many [...]

The early morning sun. Just as we crossed Belgium and reached France, Vijay looked in the rear-view mirror and said “Look, the sun looks so beautiful” And it really did. The camera shook a little. But all in all a very good sun, isn’t it?

Weekends. Bliss or just windup the body clock. I think it’s the later one. There was a time when I used to hate holidays. I didn’t have to do anything then. Now I have something or the other to do. Even If I don’t it is still sitting doing nothing.
Oh! The joy of doing nothing.

3 days after my birthday, I today turned 29 years and 3 days old. I am still having the birthday hangover. It had to be because I celebrated my birthday after so many years. I guess almost after 12-15 years. I made Batata Wadas for colleague in the office. 75 wadas were gone after just [...]

Batate wadas, I made for my birthday. It took me almost 7 hours to prepare them. 4 hours on 9th May and 3 hours on 10th May.
I prepared 85 wadas. 10 for home and 75 for office. All wadas were gone in less than 2 hours. Am I a great cook or what?
On 10th May 1976, a boy was born in a distant suburb in Mumbai. The small boy after 29 years grows up to be…………..me.
I thought I should start with a dramatic sentence, just for effects. I used to read these types of sentences in my history books or those biographical essays in “Chandamama”. I complete [...]
